Investment opportunities on the Marketplace are generally offered under Rule 506 of Regulation D and are only suitable for, intended for and available to ”accredited investors” as defined under Rule 501 of Regulation D who are registered users of the Marketplace. Investments in private placement are speculative and involve a high degree of risk.
According to consulting firm Neudata, which helps investors evaluate data providers, yearly subscriptions for alternative data sets can range from less than $25,000 to $500,000 or more. About 30 percent of transactional data subscriptions, for example, cost more than $150,000 a year, Neudata said.
Through BalanceSheets.com, participating advisors and investors can monetise their insight by getting compensated for their opinion on alternative investments products. Earnings are automatically deposited in participants' wallet in the form of either fiat currency or crypto, based on the program.
